Funded - Give Mercury the Chance to Walk Again

Mercury was hit by a car and brought to an emergency veterinary hospital by his owners. His hip wasdislocated and the top layers of skin and tissue on his rear legs scraped away.Poor Mercury's ownersweren't able to afford his care and decided tosurrender him to the shelter so he could receive proper treatment.

Mercury's wounds were immediately surgically debrided. He's now on daily bandage changes and antibiotics,but will need hip surgery once hisskin hashealed.It will takeup to sixadditional weeks of rehabilitation at the shelter before Mercury will be ready to find a loving home.
